It has been announced that the TV anime "I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day," based on the manga by Aono Nachi, which is currently being serialized on Ichijinsha's web manga site "Ichijin Plus," will begin airing in July. The first key visual has also been released, depicting a moment of small happiness between Sheena and Mimi, smiling and holding hands.
"I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day" depicts girls struggling to live their lives while hoping for peace in a world where death is always close by. One night, 14-year-old Sheena, who attends a school that raises orphaned children to be weapons of war, meets a little girl named Mimi covered in blood.
The anime will star Takahashi Rie as Totsuki Rie Takahashi, Hidaka Rina as Kagari Mimi, Asami Seto as Lizzy Seiran, and Ishikawa Yui as Maud Ali. Kakuchi Takudai will serve as director, and Jukki Hanada will be in charge of series composition and scriptwriting. ROLL2 will produce the anime.
