This time (January 10-16), Mrs. Green Apple's Suzuka Fujisawa spoke about her feelings about appearing in her first drama series, and ABC TV announcer Misaki Onita will be appearing in the network's drama series "50 Minute Lover." On January 13th, Takashi Sorimachi appeared at the production announcement for the Fuji TV drama series "Ramune Monkey" (Wednesdays, 10 PM) held at Nihon University College of Art (Nerima Ward, Tokyo). When asked, "If you could go back to junior high school?" in reference to the drama's setting, Sorimachi replied, "I wanted to be a soccer player." On the 13th, it was announced that NHK's music program "Utacon" (General TV, starting at 7:57 PM), which will air on January 20th, will be collaborating with the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake" (General TV, Monday through Saturday, 8 AM and other times). The program, titled "Bakebake Collaboration & Winter Songs Special," will feature a special arrangement of "Waratari Korondari," the theme song from "Bakebake," performed by the husband-and-wife duo "Humbert Humbert." On the 14th, it was announced that Yuki Kura will play Kuroda Kanbei in the NHK Taiga drama "Toyotomi Brothers!" (General TV, Sundays at 8 PM and other times), starring Nakano Taiga. This will be Kura's first appearance in a Taiga drama. Kuroda Kanbei was a military strategist who served Hideyoshi. He served the Kodera family in Harima (western Hyogo Prefecture), which was the front line of the power struggle between the Oda and Mori clans. On the 14th, it was announced that WOWOW's educational short comedy drama "Kanedeka!" (18 episodes), a detective drama that will teach you a little about money, will be streamed on the official WOWOW YouTube channel every Sunday at 7:00 AM starting January 19th. This is a "new and exciting" drama that will allow viewers to naturally learn about all things money, such as the basics of investment and the national tax-saving system of deductions, while watching the drama. Two detectives from the fictional Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Special Money Inflow and Outflow Investigation Unit, commonly known as "Kanedeka," track down the culprits in a case by tracing the movement of money. Harada plays the main character, detective Saijo Kiichiro, while Okabe Hiroki plays Saijo's junior colleague, Todoroki Kaito.

On the 14th, a press conference for the drama series "50 Minute Lover" (ABC TV/TV Asahi, Sunday 10:15 PM), co-starring Hey! Say! JUMP's Kei Inoo and Honoka Matsumoto, was held in Tokyo, with ABC TV announcer Misaki Onita serving as moderator. Onita, who appears regularly in the drama, greeted the audience by saying, "I will also be playing the role of Osake Sakura, who works in the general affairs department at Pirates, the game software manufacturer where Inoo's character, Haru Amami, works." Onita was born on September 23, 2000. She will join the network in 2023 and will be in charge of information variety shows such as "Asa Da! Nama Desu Tabi Salad."

On the 15th, seven new cast members for the NHK Taiga drama "Toyotomi Brothers!" were announced, revealing that Akaji Maro will play Saito Dosan, father of Saito Yoshitatsu (DAIGO). It was also revealed that Masanobu Takashima will play Takeda Shingen, the most powerful warlord of the Sengoku period. Tatsugo Tsurumi will play Asakura Yoshikage, an Azai family ally who becomes increasingly at odds with Nobunaga. Donpei will play Miyabe Keijun, a fierce general who supports Nagamasa. Additionally, Tortoise Matsumoto will play Araki Murashige, and Takaya Sakoda will play Takaya Sakoda.

On the 15th, Suzuka Fujisawa of "Mrs. Green Apple" appeared at the production announcement for the TBS Sunday Theatre "Reboot" (Sundays at 9 PM) held in Tokyo. Fujisawa, who is making her first appearance in a drama series, reflected on the filming, saying, "I was very nervous. I've been in a band for 11 or 12 years, but I was thrilled to see how different the atmosphere and tempo was on set. But everyone was really kind, and Ryohei in particular taught me everything in detail. I was able to work in a warm and welcoming atmosphere." Ren Nagase of King & Prince, who plays Fujisawa's partner, also attended the announcement and praised her, saying, "It's amazing that Fujisawa's first drama series is in a Sunday Theatre production."
