The next day, Heaven tells Toki that she won't need dinner because she'll be late, and gets into Nagami's rickshaw. Nagami, who has Heaven and Nishikori in the car, tries to say something, "Let me run..." but can't get the words out. Suddenly, he slaps his cheek, says "I'll run," and sets off.
Later, Toki goes into town to do some shopping and sees Nagami pulling an empty rickshaw. Toki asks, "Where's Professor Heaven? You're going to middle school with Nishikori-san until tonight, right?", but Nagami tells him everything, saying, "I'm clumsy, so... I can only keep quiet..." and "School is just a pretense... I can't believe you're actually at Yamahashi Pharmacy! I'm so clumsy!" Toki says, "Thank you," and leaves the scene, and Nagami can't help but let out a sigh.
