It has been revealed that singer TRUE will be performing the theme song "To Coda" for the first part of the movie " Sound! Euphonium! Ayano Takeda : Final Movement Sound! Euphonium ! Sound! Euphonium ! Euphonium," based on the novel by Ayano Takeda. TRUE is also known for performing the theme songs for the " Sound! Euphonium" series.
The announcement was made at the concert "Sound! Euphonium! Euphonium Official Wind Orchestra Concert Kitauji High School Wind Orchestra 9th Regular Concert - 10th Anniversary Performance" held at the ROHM Theatre Kyoto (Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City) on January 4th, and TRUE made a surprise performance of the song.
"Sound! Euphonium" is set in the Kitauji High School brass band and depicts the growth of the brass band members, including euphonium player Kumiko Oumae. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2015, and the second season aired from October to December 2016.
The third and final season, "Sound! Euphonium 3," aired on NHK Educational TV from April to July 2024. It depicts the passionate final moments of Kumiko's high school life as she enters her third year and becomes the captain of the Kitauji High School brass band. Following on from the previous series, it was directed by Tatsuya Ishihara and produced by Kyoto Animation. The theatrical version, " Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movement," is directed by Ishihara and directed by Taichi Ogawa. The first part will be released on April 24th.
