It has been announced that the TV anime "I Fell Invisible Love with You, Running Through a Transparent Night," based on the light novel from GA Bunko (SB Creative), will begin airing in July. The story follows the love story of shy college student Kakeru Sorano and the blind heroine Koharu Fuyutsuki, who meet and fall in love with each other. The much-talked-about work won the Grand Prize at the 15th GA Bunko Awards. The main cast of the TV anime has also been announced, with Miyu Irino Irino playing Saori Hayami Sorano, Konomi Kohara playing Koharu Fuyutsuki, Yoshimi Kohara playing Yuko Hayase, and Yohei Azakami playing Ushio Narumi. The announcement was made at the event "GA FES 2026 ~GA 20TH ANNIVERSARY~," streamed on ABEMA on January 4th.
Irino, who plays Sorano Kakeru, commented, "This is a work that makes you want to cherish not only what is on the surface, but what you feel in your heart. The meeting between Kakeru and Koharu. And how will this meeting change the two of them? I would like to carefully weave the story of these two people. Please look forward to it."
Hayami, who plays Fuyutsuki Koharu, said, "This is a pure and warm love story woven by the two characters, Sorano Kakeru and Fuyutsuki Koharu. We are cherishing the gentle atmosphere of the work as we approach the recording. The story is basically a dialogue drama with a small number of people, but we are all working together in unity and having fun during the dubbing. Obara, who plays Hayase Yuko, said, "This work is full of transparency, and each character feels pure and lovable. Yuko, whom I play, is a lively and honest girl. In the work, the five senses and feelings that she feels are mysteriously conveyed, and it makes me want to cherish the things that I feel casually in my daily life. Azagami, who plays Narumi Ushio, commented, "I play Narumi Ushio, one of the friends who watches over Sorano and Fuyutsuki's frustrating, ticklish, and crystal clear pure love. As a character who speaks in Kansai dialect, it is a very challenging role for me personally, but Narumi actually has roots in Gunma and Hyogo. As a voice actor from Gunma, I will do my best to play the role to the end! Please look forward to it!"
The first key visual featuring Koharu and a teaser PV incorporating live-action footage have been released.
The work is a light novel written by Shima Nanigashi and illustrated by raemz. A live-action drama starring actors Riko Nagase and Fujiwara Daisuke is currently being broadcast on MBS's "Drama Special Zone" slot.
