Visuals featuring the young girl Rabi and the drifter Douglas have also been released.
The story is based on a light novel written by Onada Mani Mani and Fujichoco. Douglas, once legendary as the strongest magician, has reached the age where he is considered an "old man," his body has weakened, and he has been stripped of his adventurer license. However, he meets a cursed girl named Rabi and decides to continue his journey with her, who has no relatives. The two go on an adventure, deepening their bond like a real father and daughter. The comic book adaptation has also gained popularity, with a total of over 2.2 million copies sold.
