The lineup for Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi, Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM), which will air from January 5th to 9th, has been announced. The guests on the 5th will be actor Yuko Natori, on the 6th singer Kiyoshi Maekawa, on the 7th actor Ken Matsudaira and impersonator Korokke, on the 8th actor Ryuhei Matsuda, and on the 9th popular group WEST. member Ryusei Fujii.
Natori, the first guest of the new year, appeared in a kimono. She also revealed a surprising side of herself: her usual attire is a tracksuit or formal kimono. After her medical checkup showed poor results, she decided to go on a diet. She managed to lose 3-4 kg by making use of mushroom dishes, but she also developed a herniated disc and continued to face hardships.
Maekawa is now 77 years old. He sometimes sings songs by his ex-wife Keiko Fuji at his concerts. A few years ago, he saw Fuji's daughter, Hikaru Utada, say on TV, "The person I want to meet is Kiyoshi Maekawa."
The unusual duo of Matsudaira and Croquette appeared. The two have been performing joint concerts for several years and are apparently very close. They first met at a film studio in Kyoto, where Croquette witnessed Matsudaira Ken's shocking behavior while dressed as a lord in the movie "Abarenbo Shogun."
Ryuhei Matsuda grew up as the eldest of three siblings in a family of entertainers, with his father being the late Yusaku Matsuda and his mother being Miyuki Matsuda. He talks about his memories of his father, Yusaku, who passed away at the young age of 40 when he was a child, and his childhood as a soccer boy.
This was Fujii's first appearance on the show, from the popular group WEST. He had previously performed with Kuroyanagi in a reading drama in 2021. He says that it was his mother who inspired him to audition. As a soccer player, Fujii had no interest in the entertainment industry and stubbornly refused to participate, but a miracle happened that completely changed his mind and he decided to take part.
