Actor Kanna Hashimoto will be taking over Fuji TV's New Year's special. Her first appearance in six years will be on "Domoto Kyodai 2025," which will air on December 30th at 11 PM. She will sing Kyoko Koizumi's classic "Kogarashi ni Dakarete" alongside fellow band members DOMOTO.
On December 31st at 10pm, he will be taking part in the "New Key New Year's Eve Live Broadcast Special! School Hide-and-Seek & High School Ogiri Countdown" event, where he will compete in the "Super! New Year's Eve School Hide-and-Seek." Along with Osamu Mukai and Ryubi Miyase , he will be competing in a New Year's Eve hide-and-seek showdown with 1,700 students from Seiryo Junior and Senior High School in Ishikawa Prefecture.
"Quiz Millionaire" will be broadcast from 5pm on January 1, 2026, and participants will take on difficult questions in the hopes of winning a prize of 10 million yen. "I'm good at handling pressure," Hashimoto said calmly.
In the "2026 New Year's Special: The Weakest King Tournament Without BABA" broadcast from 6:00 PM on January 3rd, he will face off in a psychological battle with Kotaro Yoshida , who plays his father in the Monday Getsuku .
He will appear as a special MC on the program "New Drama & Popular Program Quiz! Do Re Mi Fa Don! 50th Anniversary Celebration: Famous Songs Sung by Japanese People & Treasured Footage Special," which will be broadcast from 7:00 PM on January 5th.
In the special episode "Dorifu's Big Challenge: Full Power! We Visited an Elementary School Special" that will be broadcast from 7pm on January 8th, she will attempt her first ever comedy skit. She will appear as the wife in the classic Drifters couple skit "I'm a Bad Girl," which has been performed by many famous actors.
