It has been announced that the theatrical version of the popular anime series "Macross," "Macross: Do You Remember Love?", will be broadcast on TOKYO MX at 3:40 PM on December 31st. It will also be broadcast on Hokkaido Cultural Broadcasting at 12:55 AM on December 28th. The 1984 masterpiece directed by Noboru Ishiguro and Shoji Kawamori will be broadcast to commemorate the release of Kawamori's theatrical anime "Bookmark in the Labyrinth" on January 1st, 2026.
It was also announced that a collaborative campaign will be held between the "Shoji Kawamori Creative Exhibition - Expo, Combination, Transformation, Future" currently being held at the Expo '70 Pavilion in the Natural and Cultural Gardens of Expo Commemoration Park (Suita, Osaka Prefecture) and 109 Cinemas Osaka Expo City (same location).
Those who participate in the exhibition from January 2nd to 22nd, 2026 and watch "Labyrinth Bookmark" at 109 Cinemas Osaka Expo City will receive a special postcard.
