Chanmina appears on New Year's "Sanma no Manma SP"

Rapper Chanmina-san will be a guest on the talk show "Sanma no Manma 42nd Year, Same As Those Days SP" (Kantele/Fuji TV), which will be broadcast from 3:40 pm on January 2, 2026.

It was about 10 years ago that Chanmina first appeared on stage with MC Sanma Akashiya. At the time, she was not used to variety shows and went to greet him thinking, "This is scary," but she recalls being surprised by "a certain scene" in the dressing room.

Chanmina-san is also a mother of one child. "I don't want my child to become a musician," she said, to which Sanma agreed, and revealed the "efforts" she took to stop her daughter IMALU from aspiring to a career in showbiz.

As a souvenir, he brought along some walnut mochi, a New Year's staple at his father's family home. While the mochi was boiling, the two of them even started dancing impromptu.
