It has been revealed that the new TV anime "DIGIMON BEATBREAK, " part of the popular " Digimon " series that includes anime and games, will enter a new chapter, "Tactics," starting airing on January 4, 2026. A new promotional video has also been released, featuring visuals of the new cleaner team, Tactics, that stand in the way of Growing Dawn, as well as Souda Light, the rival of protagonist Tenma Tomorrow, and the "Five Elements Stars," who reign supreme among the cleaners.
The cast for "Five Elements Star" was also announced, with Yuichi Nakamura playing Kutsuna Kaito, Kugimiya Rie playing Shakai Honoka, Shiraishi Ryoko playing Rose Woodville, Mikami Hiroshi Kamiya playing Kaneda Genjo.
Toshiyuki Toyonaga will play Souda Light, and the members of Tactics will be Sakura Kawaguchi as Kanuma Hotalko, Marina Inoue as Granite, and Ryota Takeuchi as Seraphi Naito. Akio Otsuka will play Chairman Wang of World Union, the world's largest corporation.
"Digimon" is a long-loved and popular series that began with the release of a mobile game in 1997, and the first TV anime series, "Digimon Adventure," which aired from 1999 to 2000. It has since spawned nine TV series and 13 movies.
"DIGIMON BEATBREAK" is the first new anime in about two years since "Digimon Ghost Game," which aired from October 2021 to March 2023. The main character, Tenma Tomorrow, becomes embroiled in an extraordinary experience after meeting Gekkomon. It airs every Sunday at 9:00 AM on Fuji TV and other channels.
