The final episode (episode 9) of NHK's "Drama 10 'Shiba no Okite - Warera Inu-Iki Editorial Department'" (General TV, Tuesdays at 10pm), starring actors Daito Shunsuke and Iitoyo Marie, titled "Bad Shiba and Inu-Iki Forever" will be broadcast on December 2nd. Staff dog No. 1 Fukusuke (voice: Emoto Tokio) has collapsed and is said to be in danger of dying. Sagara (Daito) has decided to retire from "Shiba ONE" along with Fukusuke. When Ishimori (Iitoyo) finds out about this, he comes up with a plan...
The drama is based on the non-fiction book "Heisei Dog-crazy Editorial Department" by Yuka Katano. Set in the Shiba Inu magazine "Shiba One," the drama is a human story that gently unravels the tangled hearts of people. Daito plays Shunichi Sagara, the editor-in-chief of the Shiba Inu magazine, and Iitoyo plays Reika Ishimori, an editor who is somehow at odds with Sagara.
In the final episode, staff dog No. 1 Fukusuke collapses and is hospitalized, with his life in danger. Upon hearing this, Ishimori changes the special feature "My Shiba Proud" to "My 'Bad' Shiba." The staff confess how their own bad habits have been saved by the dog, and pray for Fukusuke's recovery. Meanwhile, Fukusuke returns to the editorial department after a long absence. Sagara announces that he and Fukusuke will retire from "Shiba ONE" with the next issue.
Knowing how determined Sagara is, Ishimori comes up with a plan...
