The 45th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Akari Takaishi , was broadcast on November 28th, and viewers were drawn to the preview of the 10th week, "Toori, Sugari" (December 1st to 5th), which was released after the main program.
In episode 45, Heaven ( Tommy Bastow) and Rio (Kana Kita) head to their rendezvous. Nishikori (Ryo Yoshizawa Ryo) and Governor Eto (Sano Shiro) are spying on them. Meanwhile, Toki (Takaishi) is at the Hanada Inn discussing the future of the rendezvous with Tsuru (Iketani Nobue) and Kajitani (Iwasaki Udai). After hearing the information Kajitani has, Toki becomes increasingly worried that Rio's rendezvous will be successful... and so the story unfolds.
In the preview for next week's episode, which was released after the main story ended, snow falls in Matsue, ushering in full winter. A snake (played by Watanabe Eriko) and a frog (played by Kimura Miho) are seen conversing, saying, "Oh, it's winter. Winter is coming," and "No wonder I've been so sleepy lately. I'm hibernating." It's so cold that Heaven wraps herself up in her futon.
The scene changes, and Toki asks, "Are you born in autumn, Haruo?" to which Sawa (Wan Marui) laughs, "Hehehe." As the snake and frog say, "Oh no, it looks like spring is coming here," Sawa is shown having a friendly conversation with Heaven's student, Kotani Haruo (played by Shimokawa Kyohei).
The trailer was full of anticipation for a new romance, but viewers reacted to the snake and frog's "hibernation" comment. Comments on social media included, "Hibernation? Oh, I see, they're snakes and frogs, so I get it, next week's preview lol," "The preview shows that Snake and Frog are in danger of leaving!? (I'll laugh if they really do hibernate)," "I'm worried they'll go into hibernation when it gets cold," "They're not really going to hibernate, are they?" "What will happen to the narrator during the winter lol," "Wait, please don't hibernate the narrator lol," and "From next week, even if the snake and frog get really quiet, it will be forgiven with, 'It can't be helped, they're hibernating,'"
