A Teaser trailer for the film "#Spread" (directed by Shirogane, scheduled for release on February 27, 2026), starring Ryo Narita and featuring Sawajiri Erika and others, has been released.
This social suspense drama is a scathing portrayal of the chaotic reality of modern society. It revolves around Shinji Asaoka (played by Narita), a caregiver who is tormented by deep loss and doubt after his wife dies shortly after receiving a vaccine, and Minami Fukushima (played by Sawajiri), a newspaper reporter who lost her fiancé to a medical accident.
The special trailer shows how Shinji, who became the darling of the times when a photo of his wife's funeral portrait was published in the newspaper as a "miracle photo," becomes embroiled in an incident.
The cast members of the film have also been announced: Yasushi Fuchigami, Kasumi Yamatani, Mariko Akama, Satoshi Funagayama, DAIKI, and Takehisa Takayama. Fuchigami will play Takano, the doctor who administered the vaccine, Yamatani will play Shinji's wife, and Akama will play the "mysterious woman in the shopping district."
