The official flagship store for merchandise of Eiichiro Oda's popular manga "ONE PIECE," "ONE PIECE BASE SHOP," will open on the fourth floor of the main building of Shinjuku Marui (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo) on December 5th. A preview for the media was held on November 26th, and the interior of the store was unveiled.
The entire 4th floor of Shinjuku Marui Main Building, with an area of approximately 1,185 square meters, will be a store, selling mainly original products. In December, there will be a lineup of approximately 800 items, of which approximately 500 will be exclusive to the shop. The lineup will include products that staff who love "ONE PIECE" have developed with excitement for "ONE PIECE" fans.
The highlight is the mini poster "ONE PIECE ALL PAGES" that uses "every scene" from "ONE PIECE." Each and every scene from the vast number of comics that have already been published is made into a mini-sized poster. New posters will be released one after another with each new volume. They are available in B4 and B5 sizes, priced at 1,100 yen and 550 yen respectively.
There is also an area in the store where you can create your own original T-shirt. You can choose your favorite character, customize the size and logo color, and create your own T-shirt on the spot. There are about 600 characters to choose from, including characters that have not been made into merchandise until now, such as brown bears. Depending on the crowding situation, it takes about an hour from creation to collection. You can choose from two colors for your T-shirt: white or black. The price is 5,500 yen for adults and 4,400 yen for children.
