The seventh episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "The Royal Family" (Sunday 9:00 PM), starring Satoshi Tsumabuki, was broadcast on November 23rd. The sudden change in behavior of Nakajo Koichi (Koichi Sato), the illegitimate son of Kozo (Ren Meguro), caused a stir on social media.

Koichi was offered by Kozo a contract to inherit his racehorses in exchange for no apology or assistance. Speaking slowly, Koichi said, "I never imagined I'd become a horse owner," but refused, saying he didn't think he could handle the job. His reasoning was clear: there were no horses currently owned by Royal that he wanted to inherit.
When asked by Kurisu (Tsumabuki) if there was anything he wanted to tell Kozo, Koichi hesitated, saying, "At first I thought I should definitely tell him, but then I thought it would be none of my business."
Kurisu had no idea. Koichi put his hand to his mouth and thought deeply, then said, "Well, I think I should say it, so I'll say it," becoming eloquent as if he had changed. "The only thing I'm interested in is Hope's child. I wonder if they're really thinking about Hope's child. I'm really worried about them," he said passionately.
Koichi continued, "I did a bit of research on Royal's horses, and I'm sure the breeding mare isn't Warsaw 2016, the one they bought last year, right?"
On social media, people were talking about the actor, saying things like, "I've become a fan of Ren Meguro . His acting is amazing," "I laughed at how well Ren Meguro Ren Meguro portrayed the aggressive, geeky, introverted character," "It's fun to hear people say he's good at playing the fast-talking horse racing pedigree geek. It was so funny when he suddenly leaned forward and started saying what he wanted to say really fast," " Ren Meguro's reputation has skyrocketed just because he can play the role of a fast-talking horse racing geek," and "He gives a really good performance. It was great to see him transform into a 'horse racing geek' when the topic of pedigree came up."
The story is based on the novel of the same name by Kazuma Hayami. Kurisu admired her father, who was a tax accountant, and followed in his footsteps, but she experienced setbacks and lost hope. However, her life takes a major turn when she meets Kozo Sanno, a horse owner.
