The manga "Seikatsu Man," written by Minamida Fuyu and illustrated by Ayaki, began serialization on November 22nd on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+."
The comedy depicts the daily life of a man who leads a double life, working part-time at an izakaya bar while also working as a hero. Minamida began serializing it in March of this year on his own account, X (@cake0sho), and on Jump Rookie!, a manga submission service for Shonen Jump+. The series has gained popularity, with each chapter generating tens of thousands of buzzes on X, and in June it was nominated for the web manga category of the Next Manga Awards 2025. The content of the work has been renewed, and the illustrations are now by Ayaki, who is now in charge of the illustrations, and the series has begun serialization on Shonen Jump+.
