New cuts from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urdr Hunt - The Trail of a Little Challenger," a special edition of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urdr Hunt," currently being shown as part of the 10th anniversary project for the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans," have been released. The cuts include a scene of Tekkadan members gathering in a cafeteria, as well as characters like Orga Itsuka and Kudelia Aina Bernstein, who appear in the new short film "Intermission Wedge" from "Iron-Blooded Orphans," which is being screened at the same time. A cut from the ending of "Intermission Wedge," featuring a new illustration by original character designer Yu Ito, has also been released.
Also released were cuts of 598 (Go Kyuppa), a former human debris boy who the protagonist of "Uruzu Hunt," Wisterio Afam, meets during the Urzu Hunt, a prize race in which he takes part, and Tamami Rakō, the leader of a pirate group.
It was also revealed that Akihiro Altland, Ryde Mass, Dante Mogro, Delma Altland, Lafter Frankland, and Azzie Gurumin will appear in the weekly bonus video "Sometimes a Day Like This" during the third week of release. A mini illustration card featuring a special illustration drawn by character designer Michinori Chiba specifically for the video will be distributed as a special bonus to attendees.
"Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" is set approximately 300 years after the end of the great war known as the Calamity War, and depicts the battles of Mikazuki, Augus, and the Tekkadan. The first season aired from October 2015 to March 2016, and the second season from October 2016 to April 2017. "Urudr Hunt" is an anime distributed on the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G" smartphone app for "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans".
