Shuto Inomata, a member of the eight-member group "timelesz," is starring in the spin-off drama "Akutsu's Dream and My Recipe" of the TV drama series "Papa to Chichi no Uchigohan" (TV Asahi, Saturday 11:00 PM). This is the first spin-off of the series, and TELASA is exclusively streaming the first part, "My Own Way."
The story is based on the manga of the same name (Shinchosha) by Toyoda Yu, who is also known for "It Seems Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!." Timelesz's So Matsushima and Shirasu Jin star in the drama, with Misako Renbutsu and Inomata also appearing. The drama is a family drama about single fathers Sengoku Satoshi (Matsushima) and Harumi Masahiro (Shirasu) living together and struggling to raise their children. Inomata plays Akutsu Tatsuya, a part-time worker at the bone-setting clinic run by Sengoku.
The spin-off will focus on Akutsu, played by Inomata, and delve deeper into his true character and past setbacks that could not be fully depicted on terrestrial television. Akutsu's passion for basketball, which he had supposedly given up on, is rekindled when he reunites with his former teammate (Urushiyama Takumi). The series will depict how a change of heart occurs in Akutsu through his interactions with Sengoku and Harumi, as well as through cooking.

--Please tell us what the highlights of "Akutsu's Dream and My Recipe" are.
I hope I was able to portray how Akutsu gradually discovers his dreams and goals through his interactions with people and cooking.
At first, Akutsu struggles with why he is doing this job, but in the end, he can't bring himself to give up on his beloved basketball, and I hope I was able to express this honest change in his feelings.
-Is there anything you can relate to when comparing Akutsu Tatsuya to yourself, Inomata?
I used to play soccer, but at some point I gave up on going professional and continuing to play soccer. I never had anything I was passionate about or anything I could work hard at, and I couldn't see a future for myself, but now I'm very happy that I found this profession as an idol.
I would be happy if Akutsu was able to find what he wanted to do through this work.

First of all, I would like to thank all my fans for their continued support. This was my first time acting, so I didn't know what to do and had a lot of worries, but I was able to film with the help of many people.
I'm still inexperienced when it comes to acting, but I've been working hard on the role of Akutsu Tatsuya. I'd be happy if everyone could get to know Akutsu's personality and his feelings that aren't depicted in the main story.
I hope to continue to study and act sincerely, become a great actor, and give back to all the people who have helped me.
