To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the broadcast of the first episode of the first season of the TV anime " Jujutsu Kaisen ," based on the manga by Gege Akutami that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), on October 3, 2020, the voice actors have sent congratulatory comments.
Kenjiro Tsuda , who plays Kento Nanami , expressed his gratitude to fans, commenting, "The days I've spent playing Kento Nanami ... I've been filled with many different thoughts. The days I've been involved with ' Jujutsu Kaisen '... I'm sure you're all filled with many different thoughts too. Those thoughts are what make people mature. I'm truly happy to be able to play Nanami Kento. Please continue to support ' Jujutsu Kaisen' and Kento Nanami. But if you can get by with just average, then so-so."
"Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from March 2018 to September 2024. The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori, who is thrown into a world of battles over curses after a powerful "cursed object" is unsealed. The comic series has sold over 100 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021, while the second season, "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu/ Shibuya Incident," aired from July to December 2023. The third season, "Culling Game Part 1," will air in January 2026. The movie version, "Jujutsu Kaisen 0," a prequel to the first season, was released in December 2021 and was a huge hit, grossing approximately 13.75 billion yen in Japan and approximately 26.5 billion yen worldwide.
" Jujutsu Kaisen the Movie: Shibuya Incident Special Edition x Culling Game Advance Screening" was released on November 7th. In addition to the special edition of "Shibuya Incident", the second season of the TV anime, the first and second episodes of "Culling Game" from the third season will be screened in advance.
