The 30th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi as the heroine, was broadcast on November 7th. In the episode, Sannojo ( Keiko Kitagawa ) revealed the reason why Tae ( Rihito Itagaki) became a beggar.
Sannojo confided to Toki (Takaishi) about the time he left Matsue, "Our family is at rock bottom right now. After we sold our factory, mansion, and belongings to pay off our debts, my mother and I were staying with relatives. But it was tough there too, and we had to bring in money. But...my mother told me that if I was from Ushimizu, I should get a job where I use people, not be used by others. As a result, I was no longer able to bring in money, and I was kicked out of my relatives' house."
Sannojo continued, "Right now, with no one to turn to, no home, and no money, my mother decided that rather than work, she would rather become a beggar."
Toki suggests coming to the Matsuno house, but Sannojo declines, saying, "Thanks, but I'll manage it myself. Besides, I don't think my mother will come." He then explains the dire situation, saying, "I want to do something before winter comes. Otherwise, we'll freeze to death...or maybe we'll starve to death before that."
Later, Toki sees Tae begging for money. After receiving the money, Tae finally bows and Toki runs away.
Comments on social media include, "They really did go that far...", "Tae-sama bowing her head was quite shocking", "Keiko Kitagawa gave a once in a lifetime performance", and "All of Tae-sama's emotions are packed into the story, it's so painful."
