On October 31st, Sato Shori, a member of the popular eight-member group "timelesz," attended a press conference for his first solo photo book, "A Bird on Tiptoe" (MCO).
The title of his first photobook, which was released on his 29th birthday, October 30th, literally means "bird on tiptoe." One of the reasons for the title was that photographers and editors involved in the production told him that he "looks like a bird," and he asked reporters, "Am I a bird?", drawing laughter.
On the day of her birthday, she "worked with the other members from morning until late at night," but other than Sato, none of the other members had seen the photobook yet. When asked who she most wanted to show it to, she said with a wry smile, "How can I choose when there are seven of us?"
Even so, he said with a mischievous smile, "If I had to choose, it would be (Matsushima) So-chan. In terms of members I've been working with for a long time, it's either (Kikuchi) Fuma-kun or So-chan. Fuma-kun will also be releasing a photo book (in February next year), so I'd like to have So-chan look at both and ask him the question he least wants to be asked: 'Which do you like better?'"
Filming took place over a year in locations including Lisbon, Portugal; Taichung, Taiwan; Gunma; and Tokyo. The book is a 320-page, B5 format book with 255 shots. The price is 5,500 yen.
