It has been announced that former KAT-TUN member Junnosuke Taguchi will star in the TOKYO MX drama "Hoshigari Joshi to Wakuari Danshi," which will air from December 22nd to 24th. This will be Taguchi's first terrestrial TV drama appearance in about 11 years, and he will play the protagonist whose life changes when he is accused of sexual harassment at work.
Daichi Kanda (played by Taguchi) was steadily building his career at a mid-sized advertising agency until one day he was accused of sexual harassment and demoted. Through interactions at a shared house, a ray of hope is lit in his wounded heart. This is a "story of rebirth." The story mixes in comedy elements and depicts how the protagonist, who has lost everything, regains his confidence and will to live. There are five episodes in total, each 15 minutes long.
Actor and singer Park Yuchun and comedian Sugichan will also be appearing. The show will be streamed live on the video streaming service "R Channel," and can also be streamed on TVer if you catch it.
