The fourth episode of the TBS Tuesday drama "Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo It" (Tuesdays at 10pm), co-starring Kaho and Takeuchi Ryoma, aired on October 28th. The scene in which Ayumi's (Kaho) ex-boyfriend Katsuo (Takeuchi) tells Minato (Yuzu Aoki) "I leave Ayumi to you" caused a stir.
◇The following contains spoilers
Katsuo learns that Ayumi's current boyfriend, Minato, has a tendency to date women quickly but break up quickly, which leads to a "mass consumption type of love." Katsuo is extremely worried, but when he finds out that Ayumi and Minato are living together, he decides to move on from the situation.
Katsuo stops by a liquor store with his junior colleague Minamigawa (Kyoka) and realizes that the clerk is Minato. When he calls out to him, Minato says, "Are you your ex-boyfriend? This is on me," and offers him a shot of tequila. He then brings out some tortillas as a side dish, and with a friendly smile says, "Eating tortillas with you two like this is even more delicious than usual."
Touched by Minato's personality, Katsuo felt that "Ayumi might be happy right now." He told Minato, "I want you to enjoy Ayumi's home cooking. And the dishwashing detergent should be plant-based. Ayumi says it's cheap, but it actually makes her hands dry out easily. And the toilet paper should be double-layered. Ayumi says single-layered is fine, but she really prefers double-layered." Finally, with a serious look in his eyes, he told Minato, "I'm leaving Ayumi to you."
On social media, people were talking about the show, saying things like, "When I saw Katsuo telling Minato about Ayumi, his love was so overflowing that I nearly cried," "I cried so much. Ayumi probably doesn't know that he feels that way about her, but I do!", "Katsuo is a great guy. I cried," "The final scene where Katsuo told Minato so many things was so moving," "I think the whole world is probably rooting for Katsuo," and "Isn't Katsuo such a great guy?"
