The second episode of the TV drama series "A Little Esper" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9pm), starring actor Oizumi Yo, was broadcast on October 28th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 6.3% for households and 3.7% for individuals.
The drama is an original story by Akiko Nogi, a screenwriter known for works such as "Unnatural" and "MIU404." It follows the story of Bunta (played by Oizumi), a salaryman who is at rock bottom after being fired from his job and divorced from his wife. After passing an audition for the mysterious company "Nonamare," he becomes a "slightly psychic" and saves the world.
In the second episode, Bunta receives a new mission from Nonamare to "stop a certain painter from reaching his destination," and once again he is puzzled by the incomprehensible content, but he takes on the mission together with his colleagues and fellow espers, Sakurasuke (Dean Fujioka), Enjaku (Atsuko Takahata), and Hanzo (Uno Shohei).
