The third episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "The Royal Family" (Sundays at 9pm), starring actor Satoshi Tsumabuki, was broadcast on October 26th, and it was revealed that the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 10.3% for households and 6.2% for individuals.
The drama is set in the world of horse racing and tells the story of a man and a racehorse over a 20-year period, where miracles are made possible through the bonds of family and friends. Tsumabuki plays tax accountant Eiji Kurisu, and the cast also includes Koichi Sato, Ren Meguro, and Wakana Matsumoto.
The third episode was titled "Backyard Deal." The story revolves around a trip to Hokkaido in search of a new racehorse. Can a miracle be achieved at a ranch on the brink of collapse?
