Animal linguist Toshitaka Suzuki will appear on Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will air on October 27th at 1:00 p.m.
Suzuki is an associate professor at the University of Tokyo who proposed animal linguistics three years ago and has attracted attention from academic societies around the world.
He is primarily researching the bird Great Tits. They have several "languages" and combine them to create sentences. Suzuki will explain the "mysterious world of animal language" while showing footage of his verification experiments.
