"Bakebake" Episode 20: "Milk beard" is a surprising foreshadowing

The 20th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), in which Akari Takaishi plays the heroine, was broadcast on October 24th, and viewers were drawn to the plot development, which foreshadowed the "milk beard" that had appeared in the drama up to that point.

In episode 20, the Matsuno family prepares themselves for the possibility that Toki, who followed her emancipated husband Ginjiro ( Kanichiro) to Tokyo, may never return to Matsue. Meanwhile, Toki enjoys her first Western-style breakfast with Ginjiro, Nishikori (Ryo Yoshizawa), and others. Seeing them toast with milk, making "milk mustaches" and laughing together, Toki is reminded of the time she spent with her family at the Matsuno home.

Holding back tears, Toki apologizes to Ginjiro, "I'm going back to Matsue. I'm sorry, Ginjiro." In her heart of hearts, she wanted to live with Ginjiro in Tokyo, but Toki couldn't leave the Matsuno family behind. Ginjiro, who was thinking of Toki until the very end, also tearfully apologized, "I'm sorry I can't go back with you."

When Toki returns to the Matsuno family home in Matsue, Tsukasanosuke(Takashi Okabe), Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki), and Kan'emon (Fumiyo Kohinata) are all laughing together, wearing "milk mustaches." The three are thrilled to see Toki back. When Fumi asks, "Is it okay? At home," Toki nods, "Yes!" After drinking the milk, Toki also has a white mustache around his mouth, and the four family members laugh together.
