The third key visual for the "SHAFT 50th Anniversary Exhibition," an exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the founding of Shaft, the animation studio known for works such as the "Monogatari" series and "Puella Magi Madoka Magica," has been released. The visual, created by Akio Watanabe, who is responsible for character design for the "Monogatari" series, features a lineup of characters from 20 works, including "Tsukuyomi -MOON PHASE-," "Negima!?," "Hidamari Sketch," "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei," and "March Comes in Like a Lion."
The "SHAFT 50th Anniversary Exhibition" is an event tracing the history of Shaft over the past 50 years. The first half will be held from December 27th to January 6th, 2026, and the second half will be held from January to 18th, 2026, at Mixalive TOKYO (Toshima Ward, Tokyo).
It was also announced that a one-day talk show, "SHAFT 50th Anniversary Exhibition x Mixa Animation Diary 'Bakemonogatari'," will be held on January 10, 2026. Details such as performers and ticket information will be announced at a later date.
