The Gege Akutami of Zen'in Naoya, who will appear in the " Culling Game Advance Jujutsu Kaisen Jujutsu Kaisen : Shibuya Incident Special Edition x Shimetsu Culling Game Advance Screening," an anime adaptation of the popular manga by Akutami Gege, has been released.
Two commercials have also been released. " Jujutsu Kaisen the Movie: Shibuya Incident Special Edition x Culling Game Advance Screening" will include a special edition of "Shibuya Incident" from the second season of the TV anime, as well as an advance screening of episodes 1 and 2 of the third season, "Culling Game," from November 7th.
"Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from March 2018 to September 2024. The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori, who is thrown into a world of battles over curses after a powerful "cursed object" is unsealed. The comic series has sold over 100 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021, while the second season, "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu/ Shibuya Incident," aired from July to December 2023. The third season, "Culling Game Part 1," will air in January 2026. The movie version, "Jujutsu Kaisen 0," a prequel to the first season, was released in December 2021 and was a huge hit, grossing approximately 13.75 billion yen in Japan and approximately 26.5 billion yen worldwide.
