The 27th episode of NHK's evening drama "Someday, in Zero Gravity Sky" (General TV, Monday to Thursday 10:45pm), starring actor Kiriyu Aso, was broadcast on October 22nd, and viewers were drawn to the words and actions of Kanazawa Sui, played by Daiken Okudaira.
The drama features four girls from the astronomy club who, in high school, shared their dream of "going to space together." As they grow up and go their separate ways, they suddenly reunite with their forgotten dreams. "If we had a micro-satellite, maybe even we could aim for space today..." Encouraged by their "older selves," they begin their second youth...
Kiryu plays the main character, Mochizuki Asuka, Misato Morita plays Hibino Hikari, whom Asuka reunites with, Katayama Yuki plays Mizuhara Shu, a friend of Asuka and Hikari's in the astronomy club, and Ito Marika plays Kiuchi Haruko.
Kanazawa Sui, played by Okudaira, is a university student who belongs to a space engineering laboratory. His grades are outstanding, but he is not good at communicating with others. His love for space is so deep that his university friends call him a "space idiot," and after Hikari's death, he took on the role of leader of the artificial satellite development.
In episode 27, Asuka suggests to Haruko, who is worried about her relationship with her son, Takeru, that she bring Takeru into satellite development. Takeru has become interested in programming and begins asking Comet various questions. Comet has recently been so focused on satellite development that he has neglected his university assignments.
Izumi (Suzuki Anne) can't hide her concern as Sui tries his best to respond to Hikari's feelings. Izumi tells Sui, who has an unsubmitted report, that it's already been three days since the deadline, and then expresses concern, saying, "I understand that you want to work hard, but please take care of yourself too. Kanazawa's life will continue even after the satellite is launched. So..." Sui, while understanding Izumi's point, interrupts, "My life... may be like that, but there are also people who weren't like that, and I carry everyone's hopes on my shoulders," remembering Hikari, and blurting out. He quickly reassures Izumi, saying, "I'm sorry. I'll definitely submit it by the weekend," and convinces Izumi.

Everyone's feelings are coming together as we work towards completing the satellite," "I cried when Kanazawa-kun said, 'I'm carrying everyone's hopes on my shoulders.' I never thought he'd say something like that...it was such a surprise!", "Kanazawa-kun is carrying everyone's hopes on his shoulders, and although he doesn't say much, it really touched me," and "I burst into tears when I heard Kanazawa-kun's thoughts."
