The 19th episode of the NHK Asadora"Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), in which Akari Takaishi plays the heroine, was broadcast on October 23rd, and viewers were captivated by the "rendezvous" scene between Toki (Takaishi) and Ginjiro ( Kanichiro).
In episode 19, Toki and Ginjiro are reunited in Tokyo. Toki wants to live together again in Matsue, while Ginjiro wants to get back together in Tokyo. The next morning, with no answer, Toki sees Ginjiro off to work as if they were once again a married couple.
While Toki is strolling through the streets of Tokyo, he bumps into a stranger and falls. The man persistently asks Toki if he can buy him an ice cream as an apology. Toki is rescued by Ginjiro, who is pulling a rickshaw, and the two spend a fun time together, enjoying sweets and visiting a shrine, for the first time since their arranged marriage meeting at Seiko-in Temple.
Toki says, "It was a fun rendezvous," to which Ginjiro replies, "It's been a while since our last rendezvous," and, "Let's go to a rendezvous again." Toki starts to say, "I... Ginjiro and I... went to Tokyo as a couple..." but a man trying to attract customers interrupts, saying, "You can see the greatest ghost story of the day, 'Botan Doro,' right now!" Ginjiro promises Toki, "When I get my pay, let's go see it together."
Comments on social media included, "They're so beautiful and cute and happy, I cried the whole time I was watching. I hope it lasts forever," "I wonder if this day will become a beautiful memory in Toki's life," "Ginjiro, please don't leave like this...," "Why did Toki and Ginjiro break up when they love each other so much?" "He's not a prince on a white horse, he's a rickshaw husband," "They're a perfect match (tears)," and "I really hope they live together in Tokyo."
