The third episode of the drama series "ESCAPE: It Was Supposed to Be a Kidnapping" (Nippon TV, Wednesdays at 10pm), starring actors Sakurada Hiyori and Hayato Sano, aired on October 22nd, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 4.1% for households and 2.2% for individuals.
The drama is a human suspense story depicting the strange getaway of a company president's daughter (Sakurada) and her kidnapper (Sano), and this will be the first time that both Sakurada and Sano will star in a drama that will be aired during the golden prime time slot on a major commercial broadcasting station.
In the third episode, the daughter of a company president, Yagami Yui (Sakurada), and her kidnapper, Hayashida Daisuke (Sano), are being chased not only by the police and the Yagami family, but by the whole of Japan. They decide that they cannot escape on their own, and, knowing the risks, decide to ask for help from a "dangerous guy" that Daisuke knows...
