The NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " starring Akari Takaishi (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others) will be broadcasting its fourth week, "Should we have a class?" Here, we will introduce Shoda Takichi, played by Shogo Hama.
"Bakebake" is the 113th morning Asadora. Based on the life of Yakumo Koizumi(Lafcadio Hearn) and his wife Setsu, the story follows the heroine, who loves ghost stories, as she lives her ordinary, everyday life with her foreign husband. The story is not based on an original novel, but is an original work by screenwriter Mitsuhiko Fujiki, who has worked on NHK's drama "Asagaya Sisters' Relaxed Life" and WOWOW's "Shooting Break Series."
Takichi Shoda is a talented young man from Matsue and a friend of Yuichi Nishikori (played by Ryo Yoshizawa). Compared to the "great powerhouse" Nishikori, Takichi describes himself as "a little less than half as powerful."
Hama, who plays Shoda Takichi, gained attention for his role as Lupin Blue/Yoimachi Touma in the Super Sentai series "Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger" (TV Asahi, 2018-19), and has also appeared in NHK's "Yorudora" (Evening Drama) "Futari Koisenu" and the Taiga drama "The 13 Lords of the Shogun" (both 2022). This will be his second Asadora, following "Maiagare!" in the second half of 2022.
