Synopsis of Episode 3 of "Shumaku no Rondo" released

The Shumaku no Rondo and stills for the third episode, which will be broadcast on October 27th, have been released.

One morning, while Itsuki (Kusanagi) is preparing breakfast, Riku (Nagase Yahiro) complains of stomach pain. Itsuki urges him to decide whether to go to school or the hospital, but Riku chooses to go to school. After dropping him off at school, Itsuki becomes increasingly worried about his young son's unusually stiff back.

Makoto (Yuri Nakamura), who cannot shake off the feeling of unease about her mother Koharu (Jun Fubuki) starting to organize her affairs before she dies, questions Itsuki about her true intentions, but Koharu has told her not to tell him the truth. Realizing that Makoto is worried and has doubts about her mother's health, Itsuki urges Koharu to talk to her again. However, Koharu insists that she "doesn't want to be a burden to her daughter"...

Makoto visits Riku's elementary school to read to him and comes across Riku being bullied. Riku cries, saying he doesn't understand why he is the only one being bullied, even though he is just following his father's words: "I won't do to others what I don't want done to me." Makoto compares the relationship between her and Toshihito (played by Jun Kaname) and gives him some advice. However, this later causes problems.

Freelance writer Hatano (Furukawa Yudai) visits Isobe (Nakamura Masatoshi) again, asking to hear about the suicide of his son Fumiya 10 years ago. Isobe, who has no faith in the media due to a bitter experience, tries to turn him away. However, Hatano puts pressure on Isobe...

The script is by Miyuki Takahashi. This is a human drama about Itsuki Torikai, a single-parent estate organizer raising a young child, who, together with his colleagues at the estate organizer company, works closely with families facing various challenges.
