The main cast of the TV anime "Arne's Case Files," based on the popular mystery game, has been announced, with Koki Uchiyama and Tanaka Aimi playing the dual roles of Arne Nointator, the "legendary vampire" who runs a detective agency. Uchiyama will play the adult version of Arne, while Tanaka will play the boy version of Arne. It was also announced that Yuka Nukui Yuzuka will play Lynn Reinweiss, a noblewoman and "vampire otaku" who teams up with Arne, and Mariya Ise will play Louise Hartmann, an original character for the anime.
In the anime series, in addition to the buddy duo Arne and Rin, an original character named Lewis will also appear, and they will be the triple protagonists trying to solve the case. The main promotional video has been released, depicting the three characters meeting after a series of murders occurs in Lewis's village. It has also been announced that singer Sou will be performing the opening theme "QED" and singer-songwriter Kobayashi Watashi will be performing the ending theme "Doll Town."
Ise, who plays Lewis, commented, "This film draws you in with its unique worldview and delicate psychological portrayal, and I tried to carefully express the atmosphere and emotional fluctuations of the character Lewis.I would be happy if I was able to deliver a Lewis that will be remembered by everyone as a character that adds color to the story."
Uchiyama, who plays Arne, said, "Not only are the unique characters fascinating, but the story is structured so that you can enjoy a variety of stories, so I think you'll be able to watch it all the way to the very end without getting bored. I would also recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries and solving puzzles. Please look forward to the TV anime 'Arne's Case Files'!"
Tanaka, who plays Arne (a young boy), commented, "As the title suggests, we will be solving many incidents and mysteries! I think it will be a story that can be enjoyed by both those who have played the original game and those who haven't, so please look forward to the broadcast!"
Nukui, who plays Rin, said, "I am very honored and happy to be able to be involved in this work that is loved by so many people. Rin is a young lady, a cute and kind girl who cares about her family. And...she's a total vampire otaku! I feel very close to her! She is a girl with a lot of depth, and I did my best to convey her charm to the fullest. I think this anime will no doubt captivate both fans of the original work and those meeting it for the first time with its strange and mysterious world! I hope you'll be "dancing with joy" as you wait for the broadcast!"
Sou, who will be performing the opening theme, said, "The song is called 'QED' and was written by Yuri Kuriyama. I would be happy if I could convey at least a little of the spirit of pursuing the truth and the atmosphere of this story through the music. I hope you enjoy it along with the film."
Kobayashi, who is in charge of the ending theme, commented, "Congratulations on the anime adaptation! I love games made with RPG Maker. By the way, when you say it's being adapted into an anime, does that mean we'll be able to see Nachtzerer in anime? I'm so happy... The arrangement is by our great Wada Takeaki! Wada Takeaki is the best... I asked him to arrange it and use Maccaferri, and he agreed. You never know what you'll get if you ask. I hope you will also look forward to the ending theme, "Doll Town," which contributes to the worldview of the anime "Arne's Case Files."
