The drama is an original work by screenwriter Yoshikazu Okada, known for the "Second to Last Love" series. It is a home comedy about three families living in a retro apartment building, with Kitamura and Nakama playing a married couple. This is Kitamura's first lead role in a prime-time terrestrial TV drama.
The three families living in "Twilight States" gathered at the Nagashima residence on the first floor for dinner. When the three families previously gathered, Wataru (Kitamura) revealed that they had promised to divorce when their child turned 20, so the topic turned to the Ogura family's divorce.
Ann, who stated that she intends to get a divorce, said that she "doesn't hate" Wataru, but revealed that she has complicated feelings about him.
"My two children were so cute and I loved them so much. They were always looking out for me. Whenever they saw my face they would smile and there was no one like them in this world. It was amazing, I was happy and proud, and they were so cute. But I was going crazy. I had nothing but my mother."
Looking back on her days raising her child, Ann said with tears in her eyes, "But I wasn't born just to live as a mother," and choked up as she added, "I have my own thoughts and feelings. Why am I only allowed to have those? If things continue like this, I'll..." Satoko gently embraced Ann.
On social media, people were talking about the incident, saying things like, "When Satoko hugged An, I started crying too," "When Satoko hugged her, it was just like that," "I'm glad Satoko was there," and "I'm just glad that Satoko and someone like her was nearby to listen to me."
