The 15th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi as the heroine, was broadcast on October 17th, and viewers were captivated by the scene in which Sannojo(Rihito Itagaki) confesses his true feelings to his father, Den (Shinichi Tsutsumi).
In episode 15, thanks to Toki's (Takaishi) dedication, Den's health shows signs of recovery. Toki reports this to Sannojo, the acting president of the factory, but is distracted after learning that Toki is actually the daughter of the Ushimizu family and his own sister. Meanwhile, at the factory, inspector Hirai (Adachi Tomomitsu) is conducting a strict quality inspection, and ends up slapping Sen (Adachi Kino) on the cheek after she keeps failing.
Den, who witnessed the incident, asks Sannojo to explain what happened, but suddenly collapses in agony. Sannojo confesses, "It's impossible, it's too late now. I've always been focused on my older brother and haven't learned anything. They've conveniently called on the youngest son, who has never even spoken to me."
"And yet Otoki... wasn't the eldest son, nor was she a child of the Ushimizu family, yet she was taken care of. If you wonder why, it's simple. She was my child. My... my... older sister," she muttered, voicing her sorrow, "If the more I let go of someone, the more I cherish them, then I wish I had grown up somewhere else." Fu said, "What are you talking about, Sannojo," and touched Sannojo's cheek.
Sannojo apologizes to Toki, saying, "I'm sorry for suddenly bringing this up..." but Toki replies, "I know everything," revealing that he had guessed the secret of his birth. Den musters up all his strength and says, "Then I'll tell you. You are not my child and Tae's. You are the child of Tsukasanosuke Matsuno and Matsuno Fumi. From the moment you were born, and always will be..." He collapses into Tae's (Keiko Kitagawa ) lap and takes his last breath.
Sannojo was born as the third son of the Ushimizu family, but had no place in the family and was treated like air by Den. On social media, people were saying things like, "It's been so hard for Sannojo...", "I hope Sannojo finds salvation", "Sannojo, live strong", and "It was really great that in his final moments, Sannojo cried out 'Father!' and Toki called out 'Uncle!'", as well as comments like, "Will Tae and Sannojo be okay on their own? I'm worried", "What will happen to O-Tae and Sannojo who have no ability to live on their own?" and "O-Tae and Sannojo will have to rebuild their parent-child relationship from now on. Good luck!!"
