On October 15th, the popular group "timelesz" won the grand prize at the "anan AWARD 2025," an awards ceremony run by the women's magazine "anan" (Magazine House) to select "stars who symbolize the era," and all eight members attended the awards ceremony held in Tokyo.
Fuma Kikuchi, who received the grand prize individually in 2023, said, "I was very happy when I won it alone, but it's even more exciting to win it as a group." When former Fuji TV announcer Yumi Nagashima, who was hosting the event, responded that she felt the love from the other members, he blushed and laughed, saying, "Not really."
In addition to the original members Kikuchi, Sato Shori, and So Matsushima So, five new members joined timelesz in February of this year after auditions for new members were held through the "timelesz project (commonly known as Typero)" - Takuto Teranishi, Yoshitaka Hara, Hashimoto Masaki, Shuto Inomata, and Shinozuka Daiki. Now with eight members, this has been a year of great progress for the group.
Looking back on that Typoro, Kikuchi said, "I think everyone, including the people who participated, are wonderful friends. We had such fun days, so maybe we should do it again and make it a group of 16." The other members immediately chimed in, saying, "That's too many!"
The "anan AWARD" was established in 2020, the 50th anniversary of the magazine's founding, and recognizes the "faces of the time" who have been active and symbolic of that year. This year marks the 55th anniversary of the magazine's founding, and the winners were "timelesz" in the Grand Prize, Mio Imada in the Actor category, Kazuya Ohashi Naniwa Danshi 's Ohashi Kazuya in the Super Idol category, Takarazuka Revue's Oozuki An in the Stage category, Kiyo in the Absolute Champion category, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters in the Athlete category, Tsukahara Ayuko in the Culture category, QuizKnock in the Creative category, K-POP virtual idol PLAVE in the Borderless category, and Moriyama Shintaro of comedy duo Mitorizu in the Body Make category.
