On October 15th, Kazuya Ohashi of the popular group " Naniwa Danshi " won the Super Idol category of the "anan AWARD 2025," an award given by women's magazine "anan" (Magazine House) to select "stars who symbolize the era," and attended the awards ceremony held in Tokyo. "I was embarrassed when I first heard about it, but ever since I joined this agency, I've always said I wanted to become a super idol, so I'm happy and feel like I've gotten one step closer," he said with joy.
Regarding the award, the members said, "We're glad that your dream has come true. We're sure there are other members who are watching this with grins on their faces."
The group is scheduled to hold their first dome concert in January next year, and they are enthusiastic, saying, "We are working hard to let more people know that Naniwa Danshi is interesting and fun."
When asked what he would like to try in the future, he revealed that he would like to "release a photobook as a group," and expressed his desire for all members to be photographed overseas for the first time. He also pleaded, "Personally, I would like to get my whole body ripped (with muscle) and release a photobook. Please, AnAn!"
The "anan AWARD" was established in 2020, the 50th anniversary of the magazine's founding, and recognizes the "faces of the time" who have been active and symbolic of that year. This year marks the 55th anniversary of the magazine's founding, and the winners were "timelesz" in the Grand Prize, Mio Imada in the Actor category, Kazuya Ohashi of " Naniwa Danshi " in the Super Idol category, Oozuki An of the "Takarazuka Revue" in the Stage category, Kiyo in the Absolute Champion category, "Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters" in the Athlete category, Tsukahara Ayuko in the Culture category, "QuizKnock" in the Creative category, K-POP virtual idol "PLAVE" in the Borderless category, and Moriyama Shintaro of the comedy duo "Mitorizu" in the Body Makeup category.
