It has been announced that the October 25th episode of the Takarazuka Revue's information program "Takarazuka Premiere" (WOWOW Live) will air a special program celebrating the departure of former Cosmos Troupe top star Serika Toa.
Serika joined the Takarazuka Revue in 2007 as a member of the 93rd class. She performed in the Star, Flower, and Cosmos troupes, and was appointed top star of the Cosmos troupe in June 2023. She will be leaving the Takarazuka Revue in April of this year, and will be holding her first concert since leaving in Shanghai, China in November.
In the program, Serika visits an apparel brand in Shiga Prefecture and talks with a female entrepreneur who produces fair trade products in India. She also tries her hand at embroidering her own original designs onto towels made using traditional techniques. An interview with Serika is also included.
"Takarazuka Premiere" will be broadcast on WOWOW Live from 2:15 p.m. on October 25th.
Also, "Invitation to Takarazuka," which will be broadcast on WOWOW Live from 3:00 p.m. on the same day, will feature the 2023 Cosmos Troupe performance "Casino Royale: My Name is Bond," in which Serika appeared.
