Former TBS and freelance announcer Rina Yamamoto appeared on Abema's variety show "Damatterenai Onnatachi Season 2" on October 10th. She spoke about her complicated feelings towards fellow TBS announcer Kasumi Mori, who also went freelance.
During the studio talk, Yamamoto introduced herself as "a competitive person." When asked by MC Megumi, "Do you have any ambitions now?", she replied, "I actually wanted to work as hard as Mori Kasumi, but before I knew it, she got further and further ahead. If anything, I admire her now."
Then, MC Hikorohee interrupted, saying, "I was a bit concerned about the 'rather' part," to which she gave a wry smile. When she said, "I'm (one) year younger than you (lol)," Hikorohee followed up with, "I'd really love for you to become friends..." She hastily replied, "We get along well (lol)!" and showed a photo of the two of them leaning close together.
