The main visual and latest trailer for the second part of the popular anime "Gundam" series' theatrical anime "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" (directed by Murase Shukou), "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash - The Witch of Circe", have been released.
The main visual features Hathaway Noah, Gigi Andalusia, Kenneth Sleg, and the XI Gundam. The trailer features impressive scenes of Hathaway, unable to shake off his feelings for Gigi and working to achieve his goal as Mufti, Kenneth preparing to eliminate Mufti, Gigi, who connects the fates of Hathaway and Kenneth, and the XI Gundam fighting with funnel missiles.
"Hathaway's Flash" is based on a novel published in 1989-90 by director Yoshiyuki Tomino, known as the creator of the "Gundam" series. Set in the year 0105 of the Universal Century, the story depicts Hathaway, the son of Bright Noa, who experienced a bitter separation during the Second Neo Zeon War, piloting a new mobile suit, the XI Gundam, in a rebellion against the Earth Federation government.
It has been announced that the anime will be made into three parts, with the first part, released in June 2021, being a hit, grossing approximately 2.23 billion yen at the box office. Like the first part, the second part, "Circe's Witch," will be directed by Murase Shukou, who has also directed "Genocidal Organ," and will feature voice actors such as Kensho Ono as Hathaway, Reina Ueda as Gigi Andalusia, Junichi Suwabe as Kenneth Sleg, and Soma Saito as Lane Aim. Part two will be released in 365 theaters nationwide on January 30, 2026.
