This week's new releases feature information on new comics. Approximately 350 major comics will be released between October 6th and 11th. The 51st volume of "Higanjima 48 Days Later..." from Koji Matsumoto's "Higanjima" series will be released. This marks the 100th volume of the series, surpassing the milestone some 23 years after its serialization began in 2002. Other titles to be released include the 5th volume of "Fushigi Yugi Byakko Senki," the latest in the popular "Fushigi Yugi" manga series by Yuu Watase, the 30th volume of "That That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime," which is also a popular anime, and the 20th volume of "Ranking of Kings."
On October 6th, the 51st volume of "Higanjima 48 Days Later..." will be released, as well as the 9th volume of "Gurapara!" which has been adapted into a TV drama, the 16th volume of "Under Ninja" which has been adapted into a live-action movie, and the 21st volume of "1-Day Outing Hanchou," a spin-off of the popular manga series "Kaiji."
On October 7th, the 25th volume of "Grand Blue Dreaming," written by Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka, for which the production of the third season of the TV anime has been announced, the 14th volume of "Temple," also by Yoshioka of "Grand Blue Dreaming," and the 42nd volume of "Radical Hospital," a four-panel comic set in a hospital, will be released.
On October 8th, the following will be released: volume 26 of "Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise," which is currently being aired as a TV anime; volume 14 of "Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san," which has been adapted into a live-action and TV anime; volume 45 of "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun," for which a fourth TV anime series has been confirmed; volume 31 of "SHY," which depicts the exploits of a shy young hero; volume 97 of the cycling manga "Yowamushi Pedal; volume 14 of "DOG SIGNAL," which depicts the struggles of a rookie dog trainer; volume 23 of "The Ancient Magus' Bride," which is also a popular anime; volume 16 of "Ninja vs. Gokudo," which will be aired as a TV anime from October; and volume 2 of "Kindaichi Papa no Jikenbo," which depicts the protagonist of the popular mystery manga "Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo," as a "father."
On October Getsuku, in addition to volume 5 of "Fushigi Yuugi Byakko Senki" and volume 30 of "That Time That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime," other titles to be released include volume 22 of Nakabushiryu's "The Six Men of the Cross," volume 32 of the animated "Elegant Everyday Life in a Monster Apartment," volume 12 of "Chuzenji-sensei Mononoke Kogiroku," volume 16 of "The Way of the Househusband," volume 20 of "The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity," volume 20 of "Chuka Ichiban! Kiwami," a new chapter of Etsushi Ogawa's popular cooking manga "Chuka Ichiban!", volume 8 of "Fungi and Iron," which is set in a world where humanity is ruled by fungi, volume 45 of "Hakuryu HADOU," a sequel to the underworld series "Hakuryu" and "Hakuryu LEGEND," volume 130 of the long-running "Edomae no Shun," and volume 185 of "Minami no Teiou."
On October 10th, in addition to the 20th volume of "Ranking of Kings," the 8th volume of "Kore Kaite Shine," which has been announced to be adapted into a TV anime, the 9th volume of "Daiki" by Q Hayashida (who is also the creator of "Dorohedoro"), the 21st volume of "Shinkuro, Run!" by Masami Yuki, known for "Ultimate Hero R" and "Mobile Police Patlabor," the 18th volume of "A Condition Called Love (Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai)," which has been adapted into a TV anime, the 9th volume of "From Bureaucrat to Villainess," and the 10th volume of "How I Attended an All-Guy's Mixer." will be available in stores.
