The eighth and final season of the TV anime series " My Hero Academia ," based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), will be broadcast on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV every Saturday at 5:30 pm starting October 4th. The first episode of the "FINAL SEASON," episode 160, "Yagi Toshinori: Rising Origin," begins with a fateful battle between the Demon King All For One (AFO), who has regained his prime strength through rejuvenation through "rewinding," and "Armored All Might," a Quirkless man clad in a powered suit. AFO's attacks become more intense, slowly driving All Might into a corner. Meanwhile, Aoyama Yuuga, Fat Gum, and the others are tormented by the brutal "Quirk" of KUNIEDA, a "Datsugoku" from the enemy villain detention facility, Tartarus.
"My Hero Academia" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from July 2014 to August 2024. Set in a world where approximately 80% of the population possesses supernatural powers and quirks, the series follows Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, as he strives to become the greatest hero. The comics have sold over 100 million copies worldwide.
