A special edition of the NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan," which aired its final episode on September 26, will begin airing on September 29. For four consecutive nights, the series will air spin-off dramas featuring the main characters Kentaro Karashima ( Nanoka Hara by Fumiya Takahashi ), Takuya Ise(played by Motoki Omori), Takuya Ise (played by Motoki Omori), and Hoshiko Nakao (played by Kotone Furukawa).
"Anpan" is based on the married Takashi Yanase(1919-2013), the manga artist and picture book author who created "Anpanman," and his wife, Nobu (1918-1993). The story follows how these two, who were once nobodys, overcame all sorts of obstacles to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
The special edition will consist of a spin-off drama that tells a story not depicted in the main series, as well as conversations and roundtable discussions with the cast members.
On September 29th, there will be the first episode of the spin-off drama starring Kentaro, "Ken-chan's Proposal," and a conversation between Imada, the star of "Anpan ," and Akari Takaishi , the star of the next Asadora, "Bakebake ." On the 30th, there will be the second episode of the spin-off drama starring Meiko, "Meiko's First Stage," and a roundtable discussion with Yuumi Kawai, who plays Ranko, Hara, Takahashi, and Omori. On October 1st, there will be the third episode of the spin-off drama starring Takuya, "Men's March," and the first part of a conversation between Imada and Takumi Kitamura, who plays Taka. On the 2nd, there will be the fourth episode of the spin-off drama starring Hoshiko, "What to Inherit," and the second part of a conversation between Imada and Kitamura.
It will be broadcast on NHK General TV from September 29th to October 2nd at 11pm.
