The NHK Asadora drama series "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM) starring Akari Takaishi will begin airing on September 29th. The story follows the heroine, who loves ghost stories, as she and her foreign husband go about their everyday lives. Here, we introduce Masaki Seiichi, played by Yukito Hidaka.
"Bakebake" is the 113th morning Asadora. The heroine, Toki Matsuno(played by Takaishi), and her husband, Lefkada Heaven (played by Tommy Bastow), are based on Setsu Koizumi, the daughter of a fallen samurai from Matsue, and Lafcadio Hearn(played by Yakumo Koizumi ). The drama boldly reconstructs the characters, changing some of the names of characters and organizations to create a fictional portrayal.
The story is not based on an original novel, but is an original work by screenwriter Fujiki Mitsuhiko, who has worked on NHK's drama "Asagaya Sisters' Relaxed Life" and WOWOW's "Shooting Break Series." The music will be provided by Kensuke Ushio, who has also worked on TV anime " Dandadan" and "Orb: On the Movements of the Earth (Chi: Chikyu no Undo ni Tsuite). " The theme song has been decided to be "Waratta Korondari" (Laughing and Falling) by the male-female duo Humbert Humbert.
Seiichi Masaki is a student of Heaven. He is a talented player who is considered to be the next great player after Nishikori, and is expected to have a bright future.
Hidaka, who plays Seiichi, was selected from an audition with 287 participants. This will be his second consecutive appearance in a Asadora, following "Anpan" (first half of 2025). He also attracted attention for his role as student council president Yoshinori Takano in the drama series "We Still Don't Know the School Rules of That Planet" (Kantele/Fuji TV), which aired its final episode on September 22nd.
