Asadora"Bakebake" introduces Toki's matchmaking partner, Morimichi Nakamura

The NHK Asadora drama series "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM) starring Akari Takaishi will begin airing on September 29th. The story follows the heroine, who loves ghost stories, as she and her foreign husband go about their everyday lives. Here, we introduce Nakamura Morimichi, played by Sakai Taisei.

" Bakebake" is the 113th morning Asadora. The heroine, Toki Matsuno, and her husband, Lefkada Heaven, are based on Setsu Koizumi, the daughter of a fallen samurai from Matsue, and Lafcadio Hearn(Yakumo Koizumi ). The drama boldly reconstructs the characters, changing some of the names of characters and organizations to create a fictional portrayal.

The story is not based on an original work, but is an original work by screenwriter Fujiki Mitsuhiko, who has worked on NHK's drama "Asagaya Sisters' Relaxed Life" and WOWOW's "Shooting Break Series." The music will be composed by Kensuke Ushio, who has also worked on TV anime " Dandadan" and "Orb: On the Movements of the Earth (Chi: Chikyu no Undo ni Tsuite). " The theme song has been decided to be "Waratta Korondari" by the male-female duo "Humbert Humbert."

Nakamura Morimichi is Toki's arranged marriage partner. He is a former samurai of the Matsue domain, and is now a fine young man who works in business with his father. He is an honest and straightforward person.

Sakai, who plays Morimichi, is known for playing Kuwagata Oger (Red)/Gira in the Super Sentai series "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger" (2023-2024). "Bakebake" will be his first Asadora.
