It has been revealed that the popular program "Higashino & Okamura's Travel Monkey" (Nippon TV), in which comedians Koji Higashino and Takashi Okamura of the comedy duo Ninety-Nine go on carefree trips, will be making a comeback after a six-month hiatus. The first location shoot of the 27th season is titled "Swim with Dolphins in Ishikawa Prefecture!" and will feature Toru Hottahara on an unusual journey to Noto.
"Tabizaru" is a show in which Higashino and Okamura travel freely to unfamiliar places. It was broadcast for 15 years since the first season in 2010, and continued until the 26th season, but ended in March of this year.
However, thanks to the strong desire of Higashino and Okamura, the show was revived just six months after its end. For the first location shoot, which will be a memorable one, they will invite Hottahara to swim with wild dolphins that live in the waters of Noto, in order to fulfill Higashino's dream of "swimming with wild dolphins!", which he had wanted since the program began.
"Higashino and Okamura's Travel Monkey 27" will start on Nippon Television at 1:35 a.m. on October 8th. It will be broadcast locally in the Kanto region for a total of 24 episodes.
