It has been announced that "SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes," a new original TV anime series by Aniplex and Sony Music based on the theme of "MUSIC x HERO," will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons on Fuji TV and other networks starting from October 5th. It was also announced that the in-game unit "SI-VIS" will sing the opening theme "So Far Away" and the ending theme "FRIENDS & SMILE" for the first season. Taisho will be the vocalist for YOSUKE, the leader of "SI-VIS."
The series follows the mixed-gender artist unit "SI-VIS," a group that has taken the music scene by storm, as they play heroes fighting against Mirage, a mysterious disaster that threatens to destroy the world. Maruto Fumiaki, known for works such as "How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend" and "WHITE ALBUM 2," is in charge of series composition and scriptwriting, while Hidari, a popular illustrator known for works such as "The Magnificent Kotobuki" and "Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia," is in charge of character design. The series is directed by Yoshida Daisuke and produced by Studio VOLN. The main characters will be played by a stellar cast of voice actors, including Daisuke Namikawa, Ayane Sakura Akari Kito Nobunaga Shimazaki, Shimazaki Nobunaga, and Soma Saito.
