It has been announced that "SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes," a new original TV anime series by Aniplex and Sony Music based on the theme of "MUSIC x HERO," will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons on Fuji TV and other networks starting from October 5th. It has been announced that the series will be broadcast every Sunday morning at 9:30.
It was also announced that the in-game unit "SI-VIS" will sing the opening theme "So Far Away" and the ending theme "FRIENDS & SMILE" for the first season. Taisho will be the vocalist for YOSUKE, the leader of "SI-VIS."
The series follows the mixed-gender artist unit "SI-VIS," a group that has taken the music scene by storm, as they play heroes fighting against Mirage, a mysterious disaster that threatens to destroy the world. Maruto Fumiaki, known for works such as "How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend" and "WHITE ALBUM 2," is in charge of series composition and scriptwriting, while Hidari, a popular illustrator known for works such as "The Magnificent Kotobuki" and "Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia," is in charge of character design. The series is directed by Yoshida Daisuke and produced by Studio VOLN. The main characters will be played by a stellar cast of voice actors, including Daisuke Namikawa, Ayane Sakura Akari Kito Nobunaga Shimazaki, Shimazaki Nobunaga, and Soma Saito.
